Specialized Services

Soils

We specialize in advanced triaxial testing, consolidation, and permeability testing.  Most geotechnical testing labs cannot justify the expense of electronic data acquisition and constant rate of strain compression capabilities needed to obtain quality shear strength data.  Let our capabilities supplement your needs to obtain high-end triaxial testing on critical projects.

We also specialize in research and development testing programs including product development and sales support.  We can tailor our laboratory capabilities to your R&D needs.

Concrete

AGT's laboratory maintains full concrete testing capabilities. Concrete cylinders, beams, cubes and prisms are prepared in the field and cured at controlled temperature to provide representative samples to test the compressive strength of the delivered concrete mixture.

AGT then performs concrete compression testing of the cured specimens at specified intervals typically ranging from seven to 28 days.

Asphalt

Asphalt testing includes testing of asphalt mixes to evaluate if specified material properties are being met; lot testing during construction for unit weights and thickness of cored samples, Marshall Stability and Flow testing, mix extractions, aggregate gradation, and asphalt content determination.
